1955 BUICK SPECIAL CONVERTIBLE  $25,000   JUST SOLD!


 

This 1955 Buick Special Convertible is a real barn find! It has sat in the garage of a California Collector for the past 29 years and was recently purchased from his estate. This untouched and unmolested Buick is in totally original condition including the black paint, black and white interior, and all the original chrome and stainless trim. Even though the engine was turning over by hand, the cylinders were lubricated for 3 days, the oil and the filter were changed, the plugs were cleaned and a new battery was installed. When some gas was poured into the carburetor, the key was turned and the gas pedal was depressed, she fired right up. The radiator, water pump and gas tank have since been removed for repairs. New belts and hoses have been purchased and wide white wall tires have been installed. The original paint needs to be redone and some interior work to the seat bottoms is needed. After all the work was done on this car and after driving it, the transmission works, the brakes work, the gauges work and even the wipers work! This is a good Buick that just needs some TLC to make it a real beauty again!
